Katie supports after school and summer programming on Deer Isle & Stonington, working with the local program Mariners Soar! to expand their offerings in the region. Katie has an undergraduate and Masters degree in Marine Biology from the School of Marine Sciences at the University of Maine. Her goals include a career in science communication and educational outreach, and she enjoys writing, reading, producing music, and foraging.
