Taylor Rossini (Swan’s Island Fellow, Society of Education Board): Taylor will begin her fellowship as the Society of Education Board launches a redesign plan for the island’s library. They envision the library transitioning into a community hub that will still provide library services and with greater community offerings. A key new offering will be digital literacy training with the hope of being able to provide on-island businesses, including lobstermen, with technology training and support as federal fishing rules and regulations change. Taylor joins Island Institute from Delaware where she was completing her master’s degree.
