Archipelago closed at the end of 2025. Over 25 years, the store has returned more than $5.5 million to its participating artists and makers.

We thank our shoppers who have helped us support these incredible artists and grow Maine’s creative economy. As we close this chapter, we’re excited to reimagine the space as a gathering place for collaboration and innovation as we work with island and coastal communities to strengthen the marine economy, advance climate solutions, and increase community capacity.
