As the Executive Associate, Kathy serves as an assistant to the Island Institute President and performs administrative duties, scheduling, and logistical and operational functions. She also assists in planning the three Board of Trustee meetings each year, one of which is on one of the islands.

Kathy started at the Island Institute as a part-time receptionist in 1998, and she has worked as the building manager and in community initiatives, human resources, and accounts payable. In 2018, Kathy celebrated her 20th anniversary at the Institute!
