Hannah is responsible for maintaining and growing our annual fundraising through the management of the Island Institute’s membership program. Working closely with staff across the Island Institute, she communicates and informs members of the ongoing need and impact of their membership support at all levels. Hannah engages supporters through events that broaden the visibility of the Island Institute’s work.
Hannah grew up on Deer Isle, Maine. She went to New Orleans to receive a B.A. from Loyola University, then on to Scotland to receive a Masters in Design from the University of Dundee. Leaving Scotland with a husband in tow, Hannah moved back to the U.S. in 2012 and now lives in Rockland with her husband, son, and greyhound. She is committed to community development and is enthusiastic about working with the Island Institute after seeing first-hand its positive impact on Deer Isle.
