Emily Roscoe(she,her,hers)

In her role as a Community Development Officer in the Center for Climate and Community, Emily helps coordinate work related to the Energy Transition Initiative Partnership Program (ETIPP) projects in Islesboro and Eastport, with more communities in the pipeline.

A graduate from the University of Maine, Emily has a bachelor’s degree in climate change and geology. Before joining the Island Institute, she worked in the North Country of New Hampshire coordinating weatherization campaigns and assisting residential homeowners and businesses on energy efficiency and clean energy projects.

Originally from Falmouth, Emily grew up sailing on the coast of Maine. Her first jobs were on boats on the working waterfront in Portland, and she has also lived and worked on an island. Emily currently resides in St George, Maine, and is excited to be back in her home state and working for the Island Institute.
