As the Marketing and Product Coordinator for Archipelago, Emily is responsible for a number of behind-the-scenes jobs including updating the Archipelago social media and web store, receiving new inventory, and processing online orders.
Before stepping in to this position, Emily began as a retail associate in Archipelago, and prior to that she worked as a studio assistant for various local artists. She is thrilled to be a part of the Island Institute team and have a position where she can directly support Maine’s creative economy.
Emily graduated from Boston University in 2021 with degrees in printmaking and graphic design. Her artwork has always revolved around her childhood in the Midcoast, and she loves working with artists in the community to see how they interpret life in Maine. In her free time she can be found spending quality time with her family, and will typically gush about whatever podcast she is currently listening to!
