Are you a town or community leader looking to deepen your understanding of how to engage with policy?
As leader within a town or organization, policy plays an important role in our communities. We want to make sure that you have the skills and resources to shape legislation—so that it helps rather than hinders your work.
Join us for the ILEAD Policy Series, four interactive sessions designed to build skills and explore how policy can be an important factor at the community level, the state level, and the federal level.
Each session will feature guest speakers and interactive discussions to explore policy in these areas and understand how to effectively submit testimony, build community collaborations, and interact with the federal delegation.
Participants will be encouraged to share their own experience as they use case studies, small group discussions, and panels with practitioners to explore the skills and considerations needed when one engages with policy.
Sessions will take place April 27, April 29, May 11, and May 13, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., and are free and open to all who currently hold a leadership position and want to deepen their understanding of how to engage with policy.
