We'll admit that this one is a bit obscure. It's in the southern half of the state, and it's on an island.

The first time Aaron Sprague and Karen Roper sat down in a yurt, owned by a friend in Maine, they experienced a deep sense of calm. "It was such a cool space and we thought...'"
The first significant storm occurred Nov. 2 and left the Midcoast and north buried in around a foot or more of snow. The next storm occurred on Thanksgiving with people waking up to 6-14 inches of heavy wet snow.
The Westward was towed off rocks on Jan. 9 and was headed to Portland, the Boothbay Register newspaper reported.
The vessel has been a problem for the town, repeatedly breaking loose.
