Kathy Estabrook

Kathy Estabrook has worked in the Island Institute's Membership and Development Department for nearly 12 years and loves her work, her window overlooking Main Street, and her colleagues on the third floor.  The eldest of nine children, Kathy is a life-long resident of the Rockland area and graduated from Rockland District High School.

Kathy attended a year of business school at Plus-Gray in Portland and has worked for many different organizations managing software for A/R, A/P, payroll, demographics etc. In her 30-year career, Kathy has been through five computer conversions and the resulting cleanups.

In her spare time, Kathy volunteers at the Humane Society of Knox County and writes short-verse poetry.
