Kate Oakes

  

Kate Oakes has been a sales associate at Archipelago since the store first opened in 1999. 

A native of South Thomaston, Kate comes from a family with a long history of lobstering, and she even ‘hauls by hand' with her husband in the waters off of an island that her family owns in the Mussel Ridge chain. 

 

During the winter, Kate flees the cold for the Bahamas.   Kate enjoys creative writing and was published in Maine Boats, Homes and Harbors last year.
