The Working Waterfront Editor
Gillian Garratt-Reed joined the Island Institute in March 2008 as Marine Programs Officer focusing on the effects of climate change on Maine's coastal communities and working- waterfront access programming. In 2010 Gillian moved into the role of The Working Waterfront editor and is focusing on increasing the paper’s online presence while maintaining the strong reputation of the publication coast-wide.Gillian is a resident of Martinsville and a graduate of Bowdoin College.
