Annie Brown

Annie Brown, Donor Relations Coordinator, came to the Island Institute in August 2006. Annie works within Membership and Development, focusing on the Capital Campaign and other special MAD tasks.

 

A recent addition to North Haven's year-round population, Annie commutes daily on the Captain Neal Burgess to the Institute's headquarters in Rockland. Originally from Portland, she had been living in Brooklyn, NY, and working in theatre and independent politics before making "the move" to North Haven. She initially came to the Penobscot Bay Region to work with John Wulp on his theatrical productions through North Haven Arts and Enrichment.

 

Annie graduated from Bennington College in 2003 where her studies focused on Modern Dance/Choreography and Costume Design/Technical Theatre.
