Alison Chambers

Longing for a simpler life and a cooler climate, Alison made the decision to leave her home state of Florida and move to Maine in October of 2001.

After two years at MBNA in Rockland, Alison joined the Island Institute in May of 2005 as a part-time receptionist and transferred to the Finance department in August of the same year. Alison has 20 years of experience in the hotel Industry, with a concentration in hotel finance and accounting.

Alison has one grown daughter, Aubrey and lives in Appleton with her partner Jeff and their dog Ash. In her spare time, she enjoys making art and jewelry, website and graphic design, cooking, gardening and camping.
