Soren Hermansen of Samso Island, Denmark is coming to Maine to talk about the wind turbine project on Samso Island and its impact on energy supplies, costs, and the environment. He will be speaking at the Portland Museum of Art on November 6th.

Soren Hermansen will also be the keynote speaker at the Island Institute's Sustainable Island Living Conference at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast on November 8th. This event will highlight products, demonstrations, and talks on elements of sustainable living by guest speakers Eliot Coleman, Barbara Damrosch, and Russell Libby.
