Building Bridges
Julia's Gallery for Young Artists at the Farnsworth and the Island Institute

This project connects the islands of Penobscot Bay to the mainland through art. Selected island students spent the summer of 2007 working with professional mentoring artists. The resulting artwork will travel in a show throughout the islands during the summer of 2008 at the locations listed below. The Building Bridges project is funded in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Exhibition Travel Dates:
