2008 Higher Education Scholarship Applications Now Available

Since 1988 the Island Institute has provided support to island communities through its various scholarship programs. Each year the number of recipients has increased, as have the funds the Island Institute is able to give. This past year the Institute gave its highest amount of scholarships to date enabling all qualifying island residents to pursue numerous academic and life enriching endeavors. To date the Island Institute has awarded almost $250,000 to over 400 scholars.
