Frenchboro Town Planning Fellow

Jessica is working with the Town of Frenchboro Board of Selectmen, assisting with establishing a town recycling program; developing a family composting system; exploring long-term strategies for solid waste handling; assisting with the community gardening program in collaboration with the school; facilitating the required online training of firefighters and emergency responders; helping foster the town's relationship with the Acadia Disposal District; and helping the town develop a comprehensive plan. Jessica will also assist with grant-writing for a town energy audit, and a DOT grant to replace and increase the strength of the town's wharf deck. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia, Jessica graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a BA in Arts in Historic Preservation and Geography. Email Jessica
