Frenchboro, Maine

The main mode of transportation from Bass Harbor to Frenchboro is via the Maine State Ferry Service, a car-ferry large enough to accommodate trucks carrying fuel, supplies and machinery that makes single runs three times a week, and a passenger-only vessel that makes two runs once a week between April and November. Travel time by ferry is approximately 45 minutes. Read more about Frenchboro.
