Dr. Ross Greene is an internationally recognized psychologist and bestselling author who is based in Portland, Maine and has worked closely with Maine schools as well as schools and institutions across the country and internationally. His books, Raising Human BeingsThe Explosive ChildLost & Found, and Lost at School and his Lives in the Balance website and Collaborative and Proactive Solutions model are well known to almost any educator or parent who has worked with challenging child and/or adolescent behaviors.

We will view his new, award-winning 90-minute documentary called The Kids We Lose. The film is about the human side of being a child or student with behavioral challenges and the struggles faced by parents, educators, and staff trying to ensure that these kids receive the help they need.


10:30-12:00 – Ross Greene presentation/workshop

12:00-1:00 – Lunch/Networking

1:00-2:30 – Screening of the film ‘The Kids We Lose’

2:30-2:45 – Break (coffee)

2:45-3:15 – Discussion, Q&A with Ross

3:15-4:15 – ‘Now What’ small group work sessions

4:15-4:30 – Closing
