David, a University of Maine Farmington graduate, is a lobsterman and fishes the waters surrounding the Town of Cranberry Isles, south of Mount Desert Island. Dave has combined his harvesting abilities with a direct shipping business of live lobsters and frozen scallops and crabmeat throughout the U.S. He has been a selectman of the Town of Cranberry Isles, he served on the Land Management Commission in TCI, is a founding member of the Cranberry Isles Fishermen's Cooperative and a founding member of the Cranberry Isles Realty Trust. Prior to becoming a lobsterman and businessman, Dave was a K-8 teacher at the Islesford Elementary School.
