Annual Reports

As part of its accountability to members, stakeholders and the general public, the Island Institute publishes an annual report at the beginning of each year, highlighting the significant programs, events, publications and services provided by the organization during the previous fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).

Fiscal Stewardship

Also included in each annual report is a summary of our most recently audited financial statements, as well as a "snapshot" of our revenue sources and expense allocations. Our Finance department can answer any questions about this component of the report.

Annual Report 2007
It is with a great sense of accomplishment — and an equally deep measure of gratitude — that we present the Island Institute’s 2006-2007 Annual Report for the period of July 1, 2006, to June 30, 2007. This report provides an overview of the signal achievements realized during this time by Institute staff working in close partnership with Maine’s year-round island and coastal communities.
